Two bodies found in an apartment in Velika Gorica, police say no signs of violence

(Patria) - Two bodies were found last night in an apartment in Velika Gorica.

Zagreb police announced today that they most likely belong to a 78-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, members of the same family, who died some time ago.

The police state that no traces were found on the bodies indicating that death occurred as a result of a criminal act.

"Last night around 7:40 PM in Velika Gorica, in Šibenska Street, two bodies were found in an apartment, most likely family members (a 78-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man) on whom no traces were found indicating that death occurred as a result of a criminal act.

Due to their condition caused by the passage of time, it was not possible to establish their identity at this moment. After the investigation, the bodies were transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine and Criminology in Zagreb," the police statement reads.
