Mural of Solidarity with Palestine Unveiled in Podgorica

(Patria) - A mural of solidarity with Palestine, created by artist Mišo Joskić, was ceremoniously unveiled in Mitra Bakića Street in Podgorica, reports Pobjeda.me.

With the help of volunteers and members of the "Movement of Solidarity with Palestine", Joskić began working on the mural in mid-July in Mitra Bakića Street, near the bus station, and it was officially unveiled last night.

Since the beginning of Israel's aggression against Palestine, the citizens of Montenegro have repeatedly expressed sympathy for the Palestinian people and held several protests of support in the capital and other cities.

This time, that support is permanent and is reflected in the mural created by Joskić.

The symbolism of the mural is reflected in the innocent smile of children, which implies their innocent role in the conflict between the Palestinian group Hamas and the state of Israel.

Another meaning is evident in the piece of watermelon, which represents a symbol of resistance of the Palestinian people, and this fruit contains all the colors of the Palestinian flag.
