Woman dies in Makarska after being pushed by a man on the street

(Patria) - Makarska police received a report around 10:20 from an elderly woman who reported that a man pushed her on the street and kicked her dog. Shortly after the call, the woman fell ill and died after resuscitation was administered. The man was arrested and is in police custody, confirmed by the Split-Dalmatia Police Department.

Index.hr unofficially learns that the woman was 73 years old, and the man brought in by police was 40.

"The competent state prosecutor's office has been informed about the incident. An investigation is being conducted at the scene, as well as other measures and actions to establish all the facts and circumstances of the event," said the Split-Dalmatia Police Department.
