Almost every tenth apartment in Ljubljana is uninhabited

(Patria) - Almost every tenth apartment in the Slovenian capital is uninhabited, according to the latest data from Elektro Ljubljana.

More than 11,000 apartments in Ljubljana last year consumed less than 500 kilowatt-hours, meaning these properties can be classified as empty or uninhabited, reports the portal Necenzurirano.

According to Elektro Ljubljana data, there are 130,000 apartments or household metering points in the Slovenian capital. On average, a Ljubljana household consumed 2,942 kilowatt-hours last year.

In less than four years, real estate prices have increased by an average of 43.15 percent.

Real estate prices increased by 8.1 percent in twelve months (from the end of March 2023 to the end of March 2024).

The average price per square meter of real estate fell by one percent in the first quarter of this year compared to the last quarter of 2023, amounting to 4,214 euros.

Real estate transactions fell by 11.5 percent in twelve months (from the end of March 2023 to the end of March 2024).

Real estate transactions in 24 months (from the end of March 2023 to the end of March 2024) fell by 30.6 percent.

In the first quarter of this year, real estate deals worth 121.8 million euros were concluded, or 29 percent less than in the previous quarter.
