(Patria) - The Montenegrin Statistical Office (Monstat) is conducting a post-census survey, aiming to assess the coverage of census units and the quality of collected responses.
Monstat announced that the post-census survey, which began today, will last until Sunday, in accordance with the Law on the Census of Population, Households, and Dwellings.
"The goal of the post-census survey is to assess the coverage of census units, as well as the quality of responses collected during the census," the statement reads.
It is stated that the post-census survey is being conducted on a sample of 66 census districts, covering all local self-government units. "In order to conduct the survey in a timely and successful manner, we ask citizens who have been randomly selected for the sample for their understanding and cooperation," Monstat stated.
The population census in Montenegro was conducted from December 3 to 28, and approximately 620,000 inhabitants were counted. The first preliminary results of the census will be released on January 25 of this year.
