(Patria) - The Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) of Montenegro has filed an indictment against police officer Zoran Gašović, accused of crimes against humanity committed in the Hadžići area in 1992.
Gašović, as a member of the Bosnian Serb civil police, "participated in committing murders and committed enslavement, forced displacement, torture, persecution on religious and national grounds, unlawful detention of persons, and other similar inhumane acts," announced today the spokesperson for the SDT, special prosecutor Vukas Radonjić.
Gašović was arrested in December 2023 by the Special Police Department on suspicion of committing a war crime in Hadžići, after which he was brought for questioning to a prosecutor specialized in criminal offenses against humanity.
