Serbian Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković physically attacked in Belgrade

(Patria) - Serbian Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković was physically attacked on the street in Belgrade last night, according to Serbian media. Some of them also claim there were multiple attackers.

Selaković is with doctors due to his injuries, and the extent of these injuries is currently being determined, after which he will go to the police and file a report, RTS reported.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić confirmed the reports that Selaković was attacked.

- I want to call on you to preserve peace, because they cannot defeat a decent Serbia. They attacked Minister Selaković tonight as well. They think they have solved some problem by doing so. They haven't.

They have only shown once again what they really think about democracy in the country and how they would treat people who think differently from them - Vučić said in a video on Instagram.
