Prosecutor's Office Forms Case Regarding Information on Voters in Serbia, RS, and Montenegro, List Contains 2,300 Names

(Patria) - The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has formed a case following information provided by the DPS regarding several thousand individuals eligible to vote in Serbia, Republika Srpska, and Montenegro, Pobjeda has unofficially learned.

According to the newspaper, the case was formed immediately after the President of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Danijel Živković, presented the party's findings concerning the illegal bringing in of duplicate voters to vote in the Podgorica elections.

Pobjeda was unofficially informed that all facts related to the data initially presented by Živković at a press conference are being established, as well as information provided at the Podgorica Security Center, where he gave a statement today as a citizen and submitted a list with the names of 2,300 voters whom the party suspects are exercising their voting rights in Serbia, Republika Srpska, and Montenegro.

Živković stated in front of the Podgorica Security Center that they expect the competent state authorities to act on the information they provided as soon as possible and to inform them accordingly.

"Given that election day is approaching, we will, in accordance with our information, provide detailed updates to the public, the State Election Commission, the non-governmental sector, and the Police Administration, especially regarding the facts and individuals we now reliably know have crossed the border and are coming to Montenegro to exercise their voting rights," Živković emphasized.

The DPS leader explained that he came to the Security Center because the Basic State Prosecutor's Office had requested information regarding the allegations made at the press conference held on Wednesday.

"I submitted that information today. A list of 2,300 names was submitted, as I said, of individuals who are exercising their voting rights in these three countries, meaning they are illegally exercising their voting rights in Montenegro, and there will certainly be more in the coming period, but this is what has been processed so far," Živković concluded.
