Trojka under the bulldozer: They weakened the Bosnian front and strengthened HDZ and SNSD

It seems that the political scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina is in a phase of great instability and political struggles between different parties and blocs. Although there is often talk of attempts at dismissals and appointments, the situation is such that these processes have been in a stalemate for a long time, given the entrenched political relations and mutual interest ties that hinder any concrete changes.

One thing is certain: the alliance between HDZ and SNSD has never ceased, and is in fact stronger than ever, even though the political parties gathered in Trojka have claimed otherwise, as have journalists and analysts close to this group.

However, one conclusion clearly emerges as a warning – Trojka started acting against the interests of SNSD and HDZ too late, and never stopped its actions against Bosnian forces!

It is difficult to single out one instance where Trojka acted in the worst possible way for the state of BiH, but during their rule, marked by mere subservience to HDZ and SNSD, one event truly defined them. That is the one when Trojka did not shy away from violating the rules of procedure of the federal parliament in order to fulfill a firm promise made to Dragan Čović to hand over control of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to him.

Čović never said thank you for the appointment of Marin Vukoja, but he clearly let Elmedin Konaković know at a 'coffee with journalists' that 'they saved him'. But there is no turning back. That is why Bakir Izetbegović, president of SDA, can go public and say 'let them suffer a little longer'. Because it is clear that they chose that path, on the wings of Michael Murphy and Christian Schmidt.

They did not even try to oppose the Serbian and Croatian separatist offensive on the Constitutional Court with other parties loyal to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Trojka simply showed its true colors when the suspension of the Constitution did not bother them on their way to their seats. Then they opened that invisible, but ever-present in the media, third front on which they stretched the Bosnian forces thin.

And clearly, there will be no dismissals, just as there will be no appointments. Because Denis Zvizdić, Speaker of the House of Representatives, himself said that he will not schedule a session until the Collegium is filled, as it is missing a Serb, because Nebojša Radmanović was removed in the onslaught of Dino's bulldozer.

But it seems the fuel has run out, and Trojka no longer has any leverage, not even in the toy Staša Košarac was gifted. People have long said, be careful how you go to the top, because on the way down you will meet the same people, and indeed they await them, except for Murphy – he is former.

Politics in BiH is truly a web of political interests that are not in line with the development of stability and the institutional development of the state.
