(Patria) - Yesterday's train collision in Belgrade is the third of its kind so far. The human factor has always been the cause of the accident, and there were fatalities in 1992.
As a reminder, a passenger and a freight train collided yesterday in the Vuk's Monument-Pančevo Bridge tunnel, near the exit towards Pančevo Bridge.
Emergency medical teams examined 13 people, four of whom were transported to the Emergency Center - the driver and conductor, as well as two passengers.
No one's life is in danger. According to initial information, the cause of the accident was the human factor.
This is the third Belgrade train collision of its kind to date. The previous two occurred on May 2, 2013, and November 5, 1992, in the tunnel under Bežanija, the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure announced.
In both previous accidents, the cause was the human factor. There were fatalities in the 1992 collision, while 22 passengers were injured in 2013.
