Tivat: Built a 100 m2 apartment in the attic without a permit

(Patria) - Tivat police filed a criminal complaint against M.P. (37) on suspicion of building an attic on a building without a building permit and documentation, thus obtaining a living space of 100 square meters.

In this way, the suspect caused damage to the budget of Montenegro in the amount of around 10,000 euros.

Officers of the Regional Security Centre South, Tivat Security Department, carried out an inspection in the locality of Karposka and on that occasion established that an attic had been built on a residential building without the necessary documentation and permit.

"In the official premises of the Tivat Security Department, information was collected from M.P. (37), whom the police suspected of having built an attic on the building without obtaining a building permit and documentation, thus obtaining a living space of 100 m2, and in this way causing damage to the budget of Montenegro in the amount of around 10,000 euros," the police statement said.

By order of the duty prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, a criminal complaint was filed against M.P. on suspicion of having committed the criminal offence of building a structure without a notification and construction documentation.
