Deep sorrow envelops Sanski Most: Promising goalkeeper Klarić killed in café by electric shock

(Patria) - Sanski Most is shrouded in great sorrow after Kristijan Klarić (17), a young and promising athlete and goalkeeper of the Football Club "Rudar" from Kamengrad, tragically died last Friday in the early evening hours.

Klarić died in a catering facility located in the center of Sanski Most, as a result of an electric shock.

As we learn, that fateful evening was his first day of work as a helper waiter, and the circumstances under which this tragedy occurred are still being investigated.

Unofficially, the young man was electrocuted when he touched a device that was under electrical voltage with wet hands, which caused instant death.

The investigation into this event is being led by the Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton with the help of the police and engaged experts in order to investigate all the circumstances of this accident.

The body of the unfortunate young man was transported to the Cantonal Hospital in Bihać for an autopsy.

This event has shaken all the citizens of Sanski Most, and due to the tragic death of a minor, a decision was made to postpone the start of the "Summer on the Sana" event, which was scheduled for tonight, and move it to the following day.

Klarić came from a modest family, was a football enthusiast, an exemplary athlete and goalkeeper in the aforementioned football club, and many recall how he often walked kilometers from his native Stari Majdan, where he lived, to arrive at training on time.

"Rest in peace, boy, it is sad that you did not get to fulfill your dream and become a top goalkeeper. You were a role model to others that when you want something, it doesn't matter how far it is, what matters is that you work with your heart. We will never forget you, you will forever be in our hearts," they said from this club.
