Bus and car collision on Ibar Highway, four children and two adults injured

(Patria) - In a collision between a bus and a car near Kraljevo, four children who were in the bus and two adults, including the driver of the passenger vehicle who sustained serious injuries, were lightly injured.

The traffic accident occurred today at 1:10 PM on the Ibar Highway, in the village of Maglič, Serbian media report.

A bus and a passenger vehicle with Sandžak license plates, which was traveling from the direction of Sandžak towards Kraljevo, collided. The bus was transporting children from Kosovo who were returning from Zlatibor.

According to initial information, the driver of the passenger vehicle sustained serious injuries, and four children who were in the bus sustained minor injuries.

The driver, who has fractures, was sent to the surgery department of the Kraljevo hospital after firefighters-rescuers extracted him from the car. Three children were transported to the diagnostics department.

Traffic is proceeding in one lane.
