(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Sarajevo, specifically judge Mehudin Duraković, has scheduled a hearing for September 25th for the sale of property owned by BHRT.
This was precisely what the leader of the Party for BiH, Semir Efendić, discussed last night, stating on FTV that the government is busy regulating Federal Television while the Court of BiH has scheduled a date for the sale of BHRT's property.
This is a legal matter in which the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has claims against BHRT, leading the Court to issue a conclusion determining the first sale of real estate registered in Land Registry Entry No. 7222 KO SP-Dolac, designated as a garden plot, area 1100 square meters, then arable land of 540 square meters, as well as a large field of 870 square meters, 524/1 economic yard, area 8096 square meters, and a gas station.
The first sale of property at 8509 KO SP-Dolac has also been determined, designated as plot number 523/2, Radio and Television building, building area 575 square meters.
The value of the properties in question is determined to be a total of 165,564,697 KM based on the report of court expert Mujo Isaković, a civil engineer.
Incidentally, at the hearing for the first sale, the real estate cannot be sold for less than half of the determined value.
Based on the court ruling, BHRT is obligated to pay the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) 17 million KM. The debt, dating back to 2007, is the reason why BHRT has been under EBU sanctions since 2017.
Let us recall, in 2016, the EBU filed a lawsuit against Radiotelevision of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the value of the dispute amounted to 12,198,170.70 KM – for the annual membership fee to the union, as well as for individual fees for the broadcast of sports and other rights.
