(Patria) - Although the Court of BiH issued an order on August 8 for the issuance of a "central and international arrest warrant" for Zoran Galić, Deputy Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA, he has not yet appeared in the Interpol database.
Namely, the Court of BiH provided Interpol with incomplete documentation, and they were immediately asked to supplement it. However, there was no response from the Court of BiH for days.
As Patria learns, only after the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies sent an urgent request to the Court of BiH did they complete the missing form.
After this supplement, Galić could appear in the Interpol database as early as tomorrow.
Galić has been on the run since July 8, and he illegally crossed the border and is in Croatia, where he fled from arrest.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH suspects him of organized crime, abuse of office, and receiving gifts.
Although he is on the run and does not come to work, nor has he justified his absence, the Council of Ministers of BiH has not yet dismissed Galić from his position. Through his lawyers, Galić has submitted a request for dismissal from his position due to meeting the conditions for retirement.
However, ministers from the Bosniak constituent people do not want to accept this request and allow Galić additional benefits. However, after two attempts at an extraordinary session where there was no quorum, the Council of Ministers of BiH did not further consider Galić's case.
The Minister of Security of BiH, Nenad Nešić, shifts the blame to the Independent Board, claiming that they did not submit the request for dismissal.
However, regardless of this, the Law on Labor in BiH Institutions can be applied to Galić, and his employment contract can be terminated.
