Horror in Zagorje: Cannon explodes and kills man who was loading it

(Patria) - A horrific incident occurred this afternoon at Dvor Veliki Tabor in the municipality of Desinić in Croatian Zagorje.

Namely, one of the cannons used for firing at a traditional event on Easter Monday killed a man.

Several readers confirmed to the portal Zagorje that it was a horrific scene - a true horror at the scene.

As witnesses recounted, one of the cannons failed to fire several times in a row - it malfunctioned.

After that, it fired, and when they tried to load it again, the cannon unexpectedly fired, and, according to witnesses, 'exploded the man' who was loading it at that moment.

- A terrible scene. I can't even describe it to you. Horror. The cannon tore the man apart - said one of the witnesses.

The police administration of Krapina-Zagorje confirmed that they received a report from the 112 Center at 3:15 PM, and that police officers were dispatched to the scene.

- In the village of Hum Košnički, near Dvor Veliki Tabor, a cannon killed one person. The circumstances will be determined by an investigation and criminal proceedings that will follow - the police briefly stated.
