What Van der Bellen and Naša stranka have in common: Political green-liberals always against nationalism if it's not Christian

Although at first glance and superficially nothing connects Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and Naša stranka, the way they operate from political positions clearly detects that the largest number of those who call themselves liberals and greens have actually emerged from the need for political profit and taking power.

Van der Bellen was an SDP member in Austria for nearly three decades, and then he realized that it brought him nothing, that the Greens were more modern, more 'in', and offered the possibility of political progress, along with the fact that they did not necessarily require a change of previous views and opinions.

With the populism he undoubtedly mastered in the SDP, Van der Bellen quite easily sold his ideas to the buyers of political liberalism and ecology and rose to the presidency of Austria. And from that position, he recently awarded Peter Handke with Austria's highest honor.

The fact that the Nobel Committee made a mistake and awarded Handke the prize for literature was enough for Van der Bellen to present him with an order, even though he undoubtedly knew about Handke's dishonorable past.

And Handke, besides being a fan of war criminals like Slobodan Milošević, whom he attended the trial of, is also a falsifier of history who invented that the citizens of Sarajevo killed themselves and were not killed by the shells of the criminal VRS.

"Although he comes from the progressive Green Party of Austria, Van der Bellen is the heir to a number of extremely controversial and rigid views," wrote the director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, Emir Suljagić, in reaction to the awarding of the prize.

And precisely so, the facade of liberalism serves many like Van der Bellen to cover up and hide rigid policies and views that have nothing to do with liberalism.

And that is actually the deepest connection between Van der Bellen and Naša stranka Sarajevo.

Let's go in order: both the President of Austria and Naša stranka originated from the social democratic party. Van der Bellen described his change as a development "from an arrogant anti-capitalist to a generous left-liberal." Naša stranka, on the other hand, emerged from the SDP, but more as a need of a narrowly interested group of self-proclaimed liberals for political power.

Today, both Van der Bellen, as well as Naša stranka, and a large number of those similar to them across Europe, hide behind their political orientation, while their actions are the complete opposite.

At the top of Naša stranka sits a doctor in whose polyclinic the deceased girl Gadžun was operated on, and the liberals haven't even thought of removing him. At the same time, the 'Našisti' (members of Naša stranka) have, in political life, completely contrary to liberalism, supported politicians and policies from blacklists, for admirers of war crimes and bearers of anti-European projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

And then, after such moves, by creating the illusion that they are the opposition within the government, they made so much noise and stirred up so much dust that the uninformed would think they are the real opposition, even though they were the decisive factor in appointing those who should never have been in BiH's institutions.

The principles of liberalism, both for the Austrian president and for the 'Našisti', are obviously identical and used as needed. Thus, Naša stranka will wholeheartedly and politically most sharply oppose the nationalist parties of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but at the same time, their president Edin Forto will readily allow the sons-in-law of nationalist parties and their leaders to be permanent directors.

Likewise, the 'Našisti' will talk about SDA tyranny and regime, then agree to be part of an imposed government that the High Representative imposed against the will of the people. And then, in that government, these false bearers of liberalism will vote for a conclusion that will overturn the Rules of Procedure to allow HDZ nationalists control of the Parliament.

Then they will do their best to prepare the ground for the appointment of Marin Vukoja to the Constitutional Court. And so, a long list could be compiled proving that the liberals of Naša stranka "principally" do not associate with Bosniak ethnic parties, but are willing to engage in all combinations with the HDZ.

And because of this, I cannot shake off the impression of the sentence spoken by Emir Suljagić about the renewal of Christian Europe. Because, observed both in the EU and here, these liberals, while saying that nations and religions are not important to them, are always and principally on the side of nationalists with a semi-visible sign of Christianity, to be more precise, Catholicism!
