Serbian Minister Popović: Serbia is following BRICS' development, I want us to be partners

(Patria) - BRICS has managed to become the fastest-growing association in the world, said the Minister in charge of international economic cooperation in the Government of Serbia, Nenad Popović, for TASS.

"I can express my personal opinion - I would very much like Serbia to become a partner country of BRICS. This is because BRICS is the fastest-growing economic association in the world," he said.

Serbia will closely follow the development of BRICS, Popović emphasized.

"They will have to resolve many of their issues. We expect new clearing centers, mechanisms for mutual payments among BRICS countries, new digital and crypto strategies. We truly hope that these institutions will develop, they will help improve economic relations," Popović added.
