Serbia is preparing for possible threats from Croatia, Albania, and Kosovo

(Patria) - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić accused Croatia of having "brutally" attempted to destabilize Serbia in the last year and a half, claiming that Zagreb was the main logistical support for those who, as he says, wanted to overthrow the government in Belgrade.

Speaking for RTS, Vučić said that Croatian authorities provided support to individuals from Serbia accused of serious crimes following protests caused by the collapse of a canopy at the railway station in Novi Sad. He also added that Croatia is conducting a "negative campaign against Serbia," mentioning the "Sarajevo safari" affair, which he claims is "fake".

Commenting on the statement by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković regarding Serbia's new armament, Vučić stated that Belgrade possesses hypersonic air-to-ground ballistic missiles with a range of up to 400 kilometers, emphasizing that Serbia has correct relations with NATO, but will not become a member of the Alliance.

"We will work on stable relations with NATO, but as long as I am president, Zagreb will not decide how Serbia will protect its country," said Vučić.

Speaking about regional security, Vučić expressed concern over the military cooperation between Croatia, Albania, and Kosovo, claiming that such an alliance is directed against Serbia. However, he assured that citizens should not worry because Serbia has enough strength to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security.
