Serbia Against Violence: Vučić Sent Special Forces Who Used Brutal Force Against Citizens

(Patria) - The regime of Aleksandar Vučić has once again shown its true - violent face, announced the "Serbia Against Violence" list.

According to their statement, they did not allow city councilors and members of parliament to enter the City Assembly, they sent their hooligans to cause incidents, only for Vučić to eventually send special forces who used brutal force against citizens protesting the stolen elections.

"Numerous recordings testify to this, as well as the fact that one of the demonstrators was brutally beaten and had his leg broken, being kicked while lying on the ground. Radomir Lazović, co-president of the Green-Left Front, was also attacked by the police after the protest ended," the statement reads.

We condemn the violence used by the regime to disperse the demonstrations of citizens who are only demanding the annulment of the elections, as well as the attempt to portray peaceful protests as violent, they stated.

"We especially condemn the arrest of a large number of protesters who gave no cause for it. We will provide them with legal protection. We most strongly condemn the lies that Aleksandar Vučić has uttered in several public addresses. We promise the citizens that, regardless of the cost, we will not give up the fight for the annulment of the elections and for a normal and decent Serbia that we all desire. We will never accept the theft that was systematically carried out in the elections on December 17th. This is not a question of which party will be in power, it is a question of Serbia's survival," stated the "Serbia Against Violence" list.

President Aleksandar Vučić addressed the public, stating that 35 people were arrested for "violently occupying state institutions," and there is evidence that everything "was being prepared."

"We have solid evidence for this and we will not give up on it. The state will react, and I am convinced that the prosecution and competent authorities will react in accordance with the constitution and laws of our country. No one has the right to destroy our home, to destroy the property of our country and citizens, and even less to inflict grievous bodily harm on our police officers," said Vučić, also announcing new arrests during the day.
