SERBIA WON'T GIVE GUNPOWDER Igman Konjic Halts Production, Workers Sent on Forced Leave

(Patria) - Director of the Igman d.d. Konjic Company Adnan Prevljak today made a Decision on the use of the remaining part of the annual leave for 2025.

"Regarding the Decision of the Government of Serbia on the ban of export of weapons and military equipment, which has caused a standstill in the supply of gunpowder, the workers of the Igman d.d. Konjic Company are being sent to use the remaining part of the annual leave for 2025, collectively, in the period from 2.9.2025 until conditions for work are met (supply of gunpowder)", it is stated in Article 1 of Prevljak's Decision.

It is further stated that the executive directors of the sectors are tasked to organize optimal work, to approve work for employees within their sector depending on the needs of the production process, and to align them with the plan of the executive director of PTS.

"Workers of the climate chambers and guards/internal security service, occupational safety, fire protection, and security are excluded from the use of annual leave from Article 1. Other workers will be informed in a timely manner about the start of the Company's operations", Prevljak also stated.
