Serbia issues warning to its citizens to leave Iran as soon as possible

(Patria) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia has issued a warning to all citizens currently in the Islamic Republic of Iran to leave the country as soon as possible.

- Due to increased tensions and the risk of a deteriorating security situation, all citizens of the Republic of Serbia who are in the Islamic Republic of Iran are advised to leave the country as soon as possible - the statement said.

Let us remind you, US President Donald Trump stated on Saturday that he is considering a limited military strike to pressure Iran to sign a nuclear deal.

The New York Times reported that hundreds of American soldiers were evacuated from Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, stating that this move is considered a precautionary measure ahead of a possible US attack on Iran. According to unnamed officials, American soldiers were also evacuated from bases in Bahrain, where the US Navy's Fifth Fleet is located.
