Smajić openly: Croatia is the key Russian ally in the Balkans

(Patria) - With his arrival in Banja Luka yesterday and meeting with Milorad Dodik, who, by accepting the BiH Court's verdict, confirmed that he is working against the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Andrej Plenković has once again confirmed that Croatia, not Serbia, is the main Russian player in the Balkans and in BiH, said delegate (SBiH) in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Džemal Smajić.

That job, he points out, is done in Bosnia and Herzegovina on behalf of Zagreb by Dragan Čović.

“Serbia, of course, is understood to play for Russian interests, but it cannot tip the scales without the cooperative role of Croatia. I am convinced that our friends from the United States of America and the European Union understand this trap that few notice. That is why Brussels and Washington must dedicate themselves more seriously to Bosnia and Herzegovina and stop this behavior of Croatia,” Smajić stated.

According to him, in tense geopolitical relations, especially on European soil, it must not be overlooked that the First World War began precisely in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“If Croatia and Dodik cannot be stopped from destroying American and European credibility in BiH, into which both money, authority, and military power have been invested, then what can we hope for in Ukraine, where a devastating war is being waged with all conventional means?”, Smajić said.
