Composition of North Macedonia's new government expected to be known on June 18

(Patria) - Mandate holder for forming the new government of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, announced that on Tuesday, June 18, he will submit the composition and work program of the future government to Parliament.

Mickoski told journalists that the new coalition government of North Macedonia will consist of representatives from his party VMRO-DPMNE, the coalition "Your Macedonia", the Albanian coalition "Vredi", and the political party "Znam".

Mickoski said that on Sunday, the highest bodies of VMRO-DPMNE will confirm the personnel solutions in the future government, adding that he cannot comment on what the personnel solutions of other coalition partners will be.

According to his words, on Sunday a session of the Executive and Central Committee of VMRO-DPMNE will be held, at which he, as mandate holder, will present the personnel solutions.

- I expect the Central and Executive Committee to declare themselves, and if the decision is positive - it will be announced to the public - said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE and mandate holder for forming the government of North Macedonia.

Mickoski received the mandate to form the new government on Thursday, June 6, and has a deadline of 20 days to propose the program and composition of his cabinet.

The new parliamentary majority, which includes the coalition VMRO-DPMNE, "Your Macedonia", the Albanian coalition "Vredi", and the movement "Znam - For Our Macedonia", has 78 deputies in the Sobranje of North Macedonia, which has a total of 120 seats.
