(Patria) - At the prestigious Abu Dhabi Professional World Pro Championship, a competitor from Sarajevo's Bushido Martial Arts Academy, Mirsad Vilić, won a gold medal in the veteran category, Master 4 division.
Vilić, who is 57 years old, fought two tough matches against opponents more than ten years younger than himself and achieved two victories. Vilić has already triumphed this year at competitions in Sicily and Limburg, adding more great results to his fighting career, the Bushido Academy stated.
Alongside Vilić, Pejić Marin also had an excellent performance, achieving spectacular submission victories in two matches. Unfortunately, he lost on points in the third round, but he certainly left a strong impression with his performances.
Tomorrow, the most decorated fighter of the Bushido Academy, Ammar Fazlagić, who has already won the Cup in Abu Dhabi this year, will step onto the mat in the purple belt division. Fazlagić is the current champion and vice-champion of Europe and is the proud winner of a double NAGA belt in Limburg.
