Ronaldo and company defeated the Czechs after a comeback

(Patria) - The Portuguese national team tonight defeated the Czech Republic 2-1 at the "Red Bull Arena" in Leipzig after a comeback, in the first round of Group F of the European Championship being held in Germany.

All three goals were seen in the second half, with the first not until the 62nd minute. The scorer for the Czech Republic was Lukas Provod, assisted by Vladimir Coufal.

Although they might have expected a good time after Provod's goal tonight, the Czechs did not celebrate for long. They scored again seven minutes later, but into their own net. Robin Hranáč announced a nightmarish evening for his team with an own goal in the 69th minute.

Diogo Jota's goal for the Portuguese was disallowed by VAR technology three minutes before the end due to an offside position.

However, despite that, Portugal found the strength for the winning goal in the second minute of stoppage time, scored by Francisco Conceição.
