Rimac with Croatian Minister on Care for Injured in Serious Accident

(Patria) - Federal Minister of Health Nediljko Rimac is in constant contact with Croatian Minister of Health Irena Hrstić, regarding the serious traffic accident that occurred early this morning in Croatia, involving a bus and a passenger vehicle from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Two people died in the accident, while 31 were injured.

During the phone call, Minister Hrstić informed Minister Rimac about the current medical care for the injured, who are mostly citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and are accommodated in hospitals in Zagreb, Sisak, and Pakrac, as announced by the Federal Ministry of Health.

Minister Rimac, on behalf of the Government of the Federation of BiH and personally, thanked the emergency medical teams, healthcare workers and institutions, police, and other services of the Republic of Croatia for their swift and professional response in providing assistance to the injured.

The Minister remains in regular contact with the Ministry of Health of Croatia, as well as with the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Nermin Nikšić, to monitor the further treatment of the injured citizens of BiH, and to plan their further care in BiH.

The Government of FBiH and the Federal Ministry of Health express their deepest condolences to the families of those who perished in this tragic accident.
