(Patria) - Filipinos have decided on a revolution in basketball - they will introduce a four-point shot.
According to local media, the new rule takes effect very soon and will be officially tested during the Governor's Cup in mid-August.
A four-point shot could already be seen in the Philippines during the All-Star game of the domestic league.
Anyone who wants to bring four points to their team at once will have to make a shot from 8.20 meters away from the basket.
The three-point line will not change and remains at the current 6.75 meters.
