Puharić sends condolence telegram to the Ambassador of S. Macedonia

(Patria) - Deeply shaken by the news of the horrific accident that claimed numerous young lives in North Macedonia, the Mayor of Sarajevo Predrag Puharić sent a condolence telegram to H.E. Ambassador Jakup Redžepi.

„In this difficult moment for your country and people, on behalf of the City of Sarajevo, its citizens, and in my own name, I extend sincere condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones.

We share their grief and pain, and we wish the injured a swift and successful recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, dear Ambassador, with the citizens of Kočani, Skopje, Štip, Probištip, and all of friendly North Macedonia,“ Puharić stated, among other things, in the telegram.

On this occasion, Predrag Puharić also sent an initiative to the Federal and Cantonal governments to declare a Day of Mourning in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the Canton of Sarajevo as a sign of respect for the victims and solidarity with the friendly Macedonian people.

„Let us together send a strong and sincere message of support and compassion to the families of the victims, the government, and the citizens of North Macedonia with whom we share many years of friendship and close ties,“ the Mayor said.
