Shooting in Belgrade: Operation 'Vihor 3' Launched

(Patria) - An incident occurred in the municipality of Voždovac in Belgrade, when an as yet unknown person, from a moving vehicle, fired several projectiles from a firearm at a group of young people, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia announced.

There were no injuries from firearms, but while fleeing the scene, the vehicle hit one person, causing injuries of an as yet undetermined degree. The injured person was transported by ambulance to the Emergency Center, the statement added.

It was also added that police operation "Vihor 3" is underway, and that the police are working intensively to identify and find the perpetrators.

According to initial information, an unidentified person fired several shots from a moving "Volkswagen" car at a group of young men, who were identified as S. P. (17), S. V. (20), G. P. (16), and L. J. (19).
