Average net salary in Slovenia 1,580 euros

(Patria) - The average gross salary in Slovenia for March was 2,496.61 euros, which is nominally 2.7 percent higher than in February, and realistically 2.1 percent higher.

In the last 12 months, according to data from the Statistical Office of Slovenia, the average gross salary has nominally increased by eight percent, and realistically by 5.9 percent.

The average net salary in March was 1,580.84 euros, which is nominally 2.0 percent higher, and realistically 1.4 percent higher than the average net salary in February.

Even in the first quarter, statisticians found an increase in the average salary.

The average monthly gross salary for the first three months of this year was nominally 7.1 percent higher, and realistically 5.1 percent higher, than the salary for the same period last year.

In March, the average gross salary increased in both the private and public sectors.

The increase in the private sector was 3.3%, and in the public sector 1.7%. In the institutional sector of the state, the average gross salary was 1.9 percent higher.

On average, employees in financial and insurance activities received the highest gross salary, which was 3,503.75 euros.

This was followed by information and communication activities, where the average gross salary in March was 3,435.70 euros.

On the other hand, the average gross salary was lowest in hospitality, and it amounted to 1,794.81 euros.
