(Patria) - Two people have died and around 80 have been injured after a bus operated by "Sirmium Bus" carrying workers overturned near Sremska Mitrovica.
The Serbian Ministry of Interior announced that the bus, for reasons still unknown, veered off the road and overturned onto its roof. The accident occurred today around 2:45 PM.
Police and emergency medical services are at the scene, as well as the duty prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Sremska Mitrovica.
The injured are being treated and transported to the General Hospital Sremska Mitrovica.
An investigation is underway.
