(Patria) - The House of Representatives will tomorrow consider amendments to the Law providing for a temporary reduction or abolition of excise taxes on oil derivatives, which in crisis situations could lead to a decrease in fuel prices by more than 50 feninga per liter.
The SNSD stated before the session that they will not vote for the Law because it is populist.
The proponents of the law and the opposition of Republika Srpska reacted sharply.
The proposed amendments allow for a temporary reduction and abolition of excise taxes on oil derivatives. Proponent Saša Magazinović says that the Council of Ministers of BiH is given the opportunity to react quickly to the rise in retail prices of oil derivatives.
To the remarks from the SNSD that this is populism that seriously threatens the state budget, Magazinović replies that Serbia, for example, did something similar, and that the SNSD is demonstrating superficiality.
