Truckload of soil dumped in front of Municipality building

(Patria) - A red truck and a pile of soil greeted employees in front of the Berane Municipality building this morning.

The RTCG portal writes that an unknown person dumped the soil in protest against the reconstruction of the road from Berane to Ribarevina, which has been ongoing for about half a year and slows down traffic daily.

The Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, Damjan Ćulafić, stated that the authorities are determining the owner of the truck and the reason, and will comment after that.

The truck in front of the Berane Municipality building was covered with banners: "What are the 110 employees in the Berane Municipality doing?", "How many of you don't come to work but receive a salary?", "The administration of the lazy eats the country of Montenegro", "You want good salaries and privileges, but you don't want responsibility", and "Leaders of the Berane Municipality, are you aware that you are not up to the function you hold?".

The Mayor of the Municipality, Vuko Todorović, did not respond to calls from the RTG Portal correspondent from Berane.

"This morning, a citizen, dissatisfied that the road connecting Berane with the world is not being completed and that it now takes four hours to drive from Berane to Podgorica instead of two, dumped a truckload of soil at the entrance to the Berane Municipality building in protest," wrote civil activist Aleksandar Dragićević on Facebook.
