(Patria) - Kosovo authorities today banned Patriarch Porfirije and seven bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) from entering the territory of that country at the Merdare border crossing.
The Government of Kosovo has not yet commented on the ban on the SPC delegation entering Kosovo.
However, it is clear that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, continues to maintain a harsh stance towards Serbian officials.
For this reason, the SPC Assembly will not be held in Kosovo, but in Belgrade.
The Assembly is expected to last up to a week.
