(Patria) - Firefighting air forces with Croatian Air Force Canadair CL-415 and Air Tractor AT-802 aircraft, along with firefighting units, participate daily in their suppression throughout Croatia during the fire season.

"Firefighting from a Canadair requires exceptional precision, skill, and courage. Dense clouds of smoke over the fire site and wind that can unexpectedly change direction make precise targeting difficult, but also increase the risks for pilots.

The synergy between air forces and firefighters battling the inferno on the ground illustrates the complexity and danger of fighting fires.

The courage of the pilots and crew, along with the tireless work of firefighters, is often what stands between the inferno and human lives and property," the Croatian Ministry of Defense emphasizes.
