Plenković: Milanović should have resigned and hidden in a mouse hole

(Patria) - Prime Minister and HDZ leader of Croatia Andrej Plenković said yesterday that the "severely defeated violator of the Constitution is slowly returning to touring Croatia", instead of resigning and hiding in a mouse hole and disappearing from the Croatian political scene out of shame he brought upon himself and others.

- A man who, out of fear, did not dare to run properly, to resign, who by his move effectively ousted the former SDP president Peđa Grbin from his position, who violated the Constitution and received clear warnings from the Constitutional Court, ignored them completely, brought the parliamentary elections to the brink of regularity, bizarrely chose a working day - Wednesday, thus costing the Croatian economy 300 million euros, is now speaking out - said Plenković, referring to the accusations of Croatian President Zoran Milanović.

Milanović had previously said yesterday that the new government of HDZ and Domovinski pokret was a masquerade that even Vladimir Putin himself could not have devised, and asserted that Croatia is not threatened by Ustašism and extremism, but by a corrupt cartel.

- He also made much worse statements about values, saying that I have no values, to the point of saying that I wake up in bed with the president of SDSS, Milorad Pupovac.

Shameful, disgraceful. It is ridiculous that someone who violates the Constitution, completely denies the institution of the President of the Republic, is even given a platform to be heard - said Plenković in Koprivnica.

Plenković believes that Milanović, after being severely defeated, should have resigned, hidden somewhere in a mouse hole, and disappeared from the Croatian political scene out of shame he brought upon himself and others.

- And now, as he usually does, he wants to project all his characteristics, which are most often weaknesses, onto others without argument. Therefore, it would be better for him to shut up, to hide somewhere so that people forget the shame he brought upon the institution of the president - added Plenković.

To Milanović's claim that Croatia is threatened by an HDZ cartel, Plenković said that he is a man who nominally belongs to the left, which is corrupt.

- You had the case from the Faculty of Geodesy, the former president of SDP Velika Gorica, recently in Smokvica a former SDP member, a corrupt social democrat, in your neighboring Bjelovar-Bilogora County, also the left, the deputy prefect also corrupt.

It is unknown who these people are, the media report them by name and surname, they do not add the party. It turns out that on the left side we have some "Snow Whites", perhaps, and they are full of corruption scandals, including his friend, the former Sisak-Moslavina prefect Marina Lovrić Merzel.

So, he is precisely a member of the corrupt SDP, who knew what was happening in secret investigations during his term, he probably knew what DORH, USKOK, and the police were doing. He violated Croatian laws and clearly very firmly, consistently, and constantly protected his accomplices in corruption. So, he is the one who is corrupt - added Plenković.
