(Patria) - Irfan Peljto, the best Bosnian and Herzegovinian referee, will be a participant in the European Football Championship, which begins tonight with the Group A match between Germany and Scotland.
The man from Sarajevo will debut at the gathering of the best teams of the Old Continent on Sunday. Peljto has been delegated as the fourth official for the Group D match that will be played in Hamburg starting at 3 PM between the Netherlands and Poland, writes Faktor.
The main referee of the match is Portugal's Artur Soares Dias, his assistants are Paulo Soares and Pedro Ribeiro, both from Portugal.
In the VAR room will be Tiago Martins, also from Portugal, and Christian Dingert and Marco Fritz from Germany will be assistants in the VAR room.
On Sunday, Group C duels are also scheduled.
In Stuttgart, starting at 6 PM, Slovenia and Denmark will face each other, with Sandro Scharer from Switzerland as the main referee, and at 9 PM in Gelsenkirchen, England and Serbia will play. The match has been assigned to Daniele Orsato from Italy.
