He probably didn't expect this: Fans booed Dodik in the packed Belgrade Arena

(Patria) - The Serbian basketball team welcomed the Slovenian selection tonight in the packed Belgrade Arena in the last preparatory match before the European Championship.

As soon as they realized that former President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik was entering the hall, the fans reacted loudly and booed him thoroughly, which you can see in the attached videos.

By turning up the music over the loudspeakers, the organizer tried to downplay the impression that the secessionist did not receive a warm welcome in the Belgrade hall. However, he did not succeed.

Fans pumped up in the Arena and drove Dodik out of the hall

A friendly basketball match between Serbia and Slovenia is being played in the Arena, and right next to the court sits Milorad Dodik, the president of Republika Srpska with a revoked mandate.

At the beginning of the second half, insulting chants could be heard from the stands directed at the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.

Serbia eventually triumphed over Slovenia with a high score of 106-72.
