(Patria) - The Commission for Deciding on Conflicts of Interest yesterday opened a case against the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, because he took his son with him on a government plane to a Croatian national team match in Berlin.
- A case has been opened, and the Commission will determine if the conditions for initiating proceedings against Jandroković have been met - the President of the Commission, Aleksandra Jozić Ileković, told Hina.
She confirmed that the Commission learned about the Speaker of Parliament's trip with his son on a government plane to Saturday's match between Croatia and Spain from the media.
- Furthermore, numerous journalists contacted us, after which we decided to open a case - said Jozić Ileković.
From Jandroković's office, however, they announced that he will address the case opened against him today in the Croatian Parliament in a statement to the media.
