Wheel fell off the car carrying Aleksandar Vučić

(Patria) - On the way to Mokrin (a settlement in Kikinda), a wheel fell off the official car of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić today.

After the incident, Vučić transferred to another vehicle and continued his tour of the Central Banat District.

In a statement to Informer, Vučić said that after visiting Melenci, on the way to Mokrin, the tire on the vehicle burst.

- After visiting Melenci, I was going to Mokrin, before the big rally in Kikinda, and I was in my car on that road.

I will give you a few explanations. So, whether the tire burst, exploded with all its plies, or something else entirely, as I think, or God knows what else, it is up to the competent authorities to determine, and they will determine it. I arrived in Mokrin and transferred to another car - Vučić said.

After the incident, he transferred to another vehicle and continued his tour of the Central Banat District. The Serbian Presidency confirmed that the tire on the vehicle carrying Vučić did not actually burst, but the entire wheel fell off.

Serbian media report that an investigation is underway.
