Condemnation of hate speech by Abbot Arsenije

(Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action of Sandžak, as a parliamentary party that legally and legitimately represents the interests of the citizens of Sandžak and Bosniaks in the Republic of Serbia, most strongly condemns the hate speech of monk Arsenije, a well-known Orthodox preacher and abbot of the Ribnica Monastery near Mionica.

We believe that such commissioned rhetoric aims to destabilize peace and coexistence in Sandžak.

The citizens of Sandžak themselves bear witness to the long-standing good neighborly relations among all religions and nations living in Sandžak.

Since its founding, the SDA of Sandžak has advocated through the institutions of the system for the realization of the rights of Sandžak Bosniaks, guaranteed by the Constitution and law, for adequate representation in state bodies and services with public authority.

We call on all competent authorities to react as soon as possible, prosecute and condemn such behavior.
