Osmani: Russia is trying to destabilize the entire region through Serbia

(Patria) - The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, stated after the Summit of the European Political Community in London that Russia is using Serbia as a satellite and through it is trying to destabilize not only Kosovo, but the entire region.

Osmani said that at the Summit, democracy protection and the fight against disinformation were discussed with other leaders.

- This time, as at other summits, Kosovo contributed to these discussions. We were at the table with many other leaders where we discussed the protection of democracy and the fight against disinformation.

Although our country has never allowed Russian or other malicious influences, however, as long as neighboring Serbia is used as a satellite of Russia and as long as it belongs to the mentality of the last century, they will continue with attempts to destabilize not only our country, but the entire region, and through it the entire European continent - Osmani said in a video posted on Facebook.

She adds that in separate meetings with leaders of other countries on the sidelines, discussions were also held on how to proceed in the process of membership in the Council of Europe.

- We also discussed how to advance in the process of membership in the Council of Europe. This was actually among the primary topics of all my conversations with European leaders, but also at every meeting where we discussed how to increase bilateral cooperation - Osmani added.
