Osmani: Serbia's lies are part of their propaganda, they planned another attack on Kosovo

(Patria) - After her stay in the USA and Latvia, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani revealed new details regarding the prevention of the conflict in Kosovo instigated by Serbia.

She said that her assessment was based on continuous information that the Presidency receives from security institutions.

More specifically, at the end of May we received new concrete information regarding Serbia's activities on the border with Kosovo. We ensured that every institution in Kosovo has adequate mobilization to defend the country, Osmani emphasized.

She added that she shared this information with Kosovo's security allies in order to obtain their support in stopping Serbia from taking actions in Kosovo.

Therefore, Serbia's lies that it is not taking destabilizing steps are part of their ongoing propaganda. As you know, such statements were made just before the act of aggression from September 2023, but also before every other act of aggression, including the attack on critical infrastructure that they carried out against Kosovo - said Osmani.

Osmani confirmed the views of President Donald Trump on July 10 during her visit to the USA, stating that he prevented a possible escalation by Serbia in Kosovo.

On this issue, Osmani said that at the end of May, Kosovo's Minister of Defense, Ejup Makedonci, also publicly spoke about Serbia's tendencies for escalation in Kosovo, including the deployment of Serbian military troops near the border with Kosovo.
