Dangerous connections for the 'Serbian World': Spajić silent, Milatović clumsily denies Igor Dodik's claims, the most important things under the radar!

By Nevena Kovačević

That the clergy of the Serbian Church and the Serbian vožd Aleksandar Vučić were not the only political patrons whose support, financial or logistical, enabled the Europe Now movement to reach the top positions of power in Montenegro, is shown by the claims of Igor Dodik, organizational secretary of NSSD and son of the President of RS, Milorad Dodik.

Namely, the younger Dodik sharply responded on the social network X on Monday to the Montenegrin Prime Minister after his criticism of the celebration of the unconstitutional Day of RS, claiming that he himself helped Spajić in building the party infrastructure of PES.

„Milojko Spajić, with whom I had a very correct relationship, helped him build his party infrastructure in Montenegro and who came to Banja Luka to support the Day of the Republic of Srpska and who admired how we fight with everything, after Escobar gets amnesia and states that the Day of Srpska is unconstitutional“, stated the younger Dodik, accusing Spajić of losing his identity and being controlled by foreign embassies.

„Complete loss of identity and views he advocated for. When two foreign embassies control you and not the people, it will certainly not end well. I am pleased by the fact that no one controls us, as is the case in Montenegro“, concluded Igor Dodik.

It is worth reminding that back in the time of his ministry in the apostolic government of Zdravko Krivokapić, the then ministers of finance and economic development, and now Prime Minister and President of Montenegro, visited Banja Luka on April 28, 2021, where they were received at the highest level and met with Željka Cvijanović.

However, it is indicative whether Dodik's claims refer exclusively to some kind of logistical support, or if they are indeed monetary donations, which would constitute a serious violation of the Montenegrin Law on Financing of Political Parties, which strictly prohibits the receipt of monetary donations from abroad.

In addition to the meeting with Cvijanović, as Spajić himself wrote on the former Twitter, the expert-apostolic ministers had a very constructive and cordial conversation with the chairman and Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, and a photograph was attached as proof of the cordial meeting.

The question is whether good relations were established between the young apostles and the Dodik family at that time, which later grew into professional relationships, through the strong interconnection of all parts of the Russo-Serbian propaganda machinery, which, either directly or from the shadows, are working together to achieve the sinister plan of the Greater Serbian empire, in its newer version, the Serbian World.

Spajić has not commented on Igor Dodik's claims, while Milatović has sharply denied Pobjeda's alleged insinuations about his personal connections with the Dodik family, although not only Pobjeda but also regional media have reported on Dodik's claims.

From Milatović's cabinet, in a denial of Pobjeda's text, they claim that the president does not have close relations with the Dodik family.

„President Milatović formally spoke with Milorad Dodik as the Minister of Economic Development in the 42nd Government of Montenegro, while he has never met with his son Igor Dodik, who is mentioned in the text, so it cannot be stated that the President of Montenegro has good personal relations with members of the Dodik family.

Therefore, the only meeting that President Milatović had with any member of the Dodik family was an official meeting with the then Serb member and chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, in Banja Luka, where he visited on a working visit in April 2021 in his capacity as Minister of Economic Development in the Government of Montenegro“, reads the response from Milatović's cabinet.

However, despite the president's clumsy attempt to distance himself, it remains unclear how it is possible that Milatović, as one of the two leaders of PES, was not aware of Spajić's relations with Igor Dodik, and later directly involved in alleged activities aimed at strengthening the party infrastructure.

Based on Milatović's response, the conclusion is that the president, if the younger Dodik's claims are true, was either unaware of the political patrons with whom Spajić maintained personal or professional ties, and to whom Milatović entrusted the task of coordinating internal party activities, or the president, in the manner of well-known balancing, is trying to hide information from the public that does not suit his balancing policy.

Igor Dodik and his sister Gorica are on the US Treasury Department's blacklist, which also includes companies owned or co-owned by them due to suspicious business dealings, while their father, Milorad Dodik, has been on the US blacklist since 2017. The question is whether Montenegrin institutions will investigate potential suspicious donations and demand concrete answers from Spajić and Milatović, or whether this, like previously exposed illegal joint actions of the clerical-Chetnik group, will pass under the radar.
