(Patria) – Following pre-trial investigations in the case involving the Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and Deputy Prime Minister of the FBiH Government Vojin Mijatović (SDP), POSKOK has now confirmed that 'evidence-gathering actions' are intensively underway in this case.
In a response provided to Patria, it is stated that the case is not closed and that the competent authorities are actively working on collecting evidence related to the allegations in the criminal complaint.
"In the case concerning the Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Vojin Mijatović, evidence-gathering actions are being intensively undertaken," POSKOK stated.
This wording represents a shift compared to earlier information, according to which only pre-trial activities were being conducted, which involve initial checks of the complaint's validity.
Evidence-gathering actions indicate that the Prosecutor's Office believes there is a need for more detailed and concrete evidence collection.
The case relates to a criminal complaint filed against Minister Mijatović, concerning the allocation of budget funds through a public call by the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts. It was previously confirmed that, on the order of the Special Department for Combating Corruption, Organized and Inter-Cantonal Crime (POSKOK), mobile phones of Minister Mijatović, as well as responsible persons from companies that were recipients of funds, were seized as part of the proceedings in this case.
The Prosecutor's Office has not yet released additional details, explaining that the procedure is in a phase where information that could jeopardize further actions cannot be disclosed.
We remind you that the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts announced a public call "Development of the Start-up Ecosystem" in March 2025, worth 1.2 million KM, with a deadline of nine days, including the weekend. The decision, according to both the winners and those who complained, was made "in half a day." Following a series of objections regarding the regularity of the procedure, the owners of the Sarajevo IT company Bloomteq filed a criminal complaint against the responsible minister, Vojin Mijatović.
