(Patria) - Trilateral police patrols of Croatia, Slovenia and Italy on the Croatian border with BiH will begin on Monday, June 16.
This was confirmed yesterday by Croatian Minister of the Interior Davor Božinović, who participated in a meeting of EU interior ministers in Luxembourg.
He stated that these patrols will contribute to strengthening the Schengen area.
He also welcomed the signing of the status agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will allow Frontex forces to be deployed on the territory of BiH, contributing to additional protection of the external borders of the European Union.
