From January 1, Kosovo unilaterally abolishes visas for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Kosovo government led by Albin Kurti has decided to unilaterally abolish the visa regime for citizens of BiH.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti shared part of his address on his Facebook profile on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Berlin Process. Under point six, he stated that the Republic of Kosovo unilaterally abolishes the visa regime for Bosnia and Herzegovina as of January 1.

It further states that citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to travel to Kosovo with personal documents from January 1, 2025. On the other hand, citizens of Kosovo will still have to respect Bosnia and Herzegovina's visa policy towards Kosovo.
