New post-election protests in Belgrade

(Patria) - Several hundred citizens gathered this evening in front of the building of the Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) in Belgrade to protest the alleged election theft.

Traffic was stopped in Kralja Milana Street, from the intersection with Kneza Miloša Street to Igumanova Palace on Terazije.

Democratic Party (DS) official Srđan Milivojević told a reporter from the Beta agency that representatives of the "Serbia Against Violence" list would address those gathered.

"After the address, we will decide, depending on the number of people, whether to go for a short walk," Milivojević said.

A large number of media crews are present at the protest, and the gathered citizens are carrying banners with the inscriptions "We are not your children" and "Marinika, please eat."
