
(Patria) - Strong severe weather arrived from Croatia and BiH to Serbia, with Batrovci, Šid and Bačka Palanka being the first to be hit. The severe weather also reached Novi Sad, and the storm tends to move further east, towards Banat and the northern parts of Belgrade.
Near the Bogoslovija transformer station in Belgrade, lightning struck three times, causing a malfunction. There is no electricity in Zvezdara, Palilula and the city center, and distribution teams are on site and fixing the faults.
Streets are full of water, and several cars have been destroyed by the falling hail. Trees have fallen, and parts of facades have fallen off buildings.
Strong stormy weather ravaged Slavonia and the Zagreb area today.
Severe weather also hit Bosanska Dubica, and rain will fall throughout BiH on Tuesday.
The precipitation is expected to stop by the end of the day.
